Increased number of passengers at the Skopje and Ohrid Airport

The number of passengers carried at both Macedonian airports has been increasing continuously. Both airports "Alexander the Great" Skopje and "St. Apostle Paul " Ohrid, starting from January to August this year have had a total of 1,339,065 passengers transported, and an increase of 10.5 percent compared to the same period last year.

Only "Alexander the Great" Skopje, have had a total of 1,223,630 passengers registered during this period, which, compared to the same period last year, is an increase of 10.4 percent, when 1,108,157 passengers were transported.

As for “St. Paul the Apostle Airport” Ohrid, in the period January to August 2017, a total of 115,435 passengers were transported, and if we compare it with the same period last year, when 113,431 passengers were transported, there is an increase of 11.6 percent.

The most frequent destinations, according to the number of passengers, are Istanbul with 12.5 percent, Zurich with 9 percent, Vienna with 6.6 percent and Basel 5.1 percent.
